We know we can win up and down the ballot. We’ve done it before.
In 2018 Blue Wave helped put Democrats in charge throughout Illinois including: the largest margin victory over an incumbent Governor in a century, Democratic control of every statewide office, and “Red to Blue” Democratic wins flipping 10 seats in the General Assembly.
As a result:
Democrats raised the minimum wage for Illinois workers
Democrats delivered nation-leading COVID testing and vaccinations
Democrats expanded healthcare coverage to 129,000 more Illinoisans
Democrats expanded childcare for Illinois families
Democrats increased funding for Illinois schools
Democrats balanced the budget, even during the pandemic
Elections lead to real results.
Taking over after years of mismanagement and neglect, Gov. JB Pritzker and Democrats in the House and Senate are putting the government back on the side of working families, getting Illinois moving again by creating jobs and improving services for families across the state.
